SRI SAI RANGANATHAN ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Explore 18 events across various disciplines at our National Level Technical Symposium, featuring our brightest minds and innovative projects.

College Campus

GENERAL RULES:

  • (Participants should confirm their participation on or before (18.09.2025) through Google form registration).
  • Participation certificate will be given to all the participants.
  • The participant should be in formal dress.
  • The participants have to produce their college IDs.
  • A student can participate in any events.
  • Teams for all events should report at the registration desk at 08:45 am to 10:30 am on the day of the event.
  • All Events must start at 11:00 am.
  • No restriction in the number of participants from a college.
  • Participants should bring their own materials for their respective competitions.
  • Only participants & staff-in-charge will be allowed inside the campus.
  • Judges decision shall be treated as final and binding to all.
  • Any improper unruly behavior or violation of college's rules will result in disqualification of teams and individuals.
  • Spot registration is permitted for special cases.
  • Management is not responsible for the loss or damage to any personal belongings.
  • Entry fees: 100/- (per Head)

PROJECT PRESENTATION

  • Any domain of your choice.
  • Common to all department.
  • Maximum of 4 members per team.
  • The paper should contain abstract, whole paper content, e-mail id and mobile number of at least one of the authors.
  • The paper has to be mailed to: projectsymp@gmail.com
  • On spot registration is entertained only for the selected candidates.
  • The maximum allowed time for presentation is 10-12 minutes followed by 3 minute queries.

PAPER PRESENTATION

  • Any domain of your choice.
  • Common to all department.
  • Maximum of 2 members per team.
  • The paper should contain abstract, whole paper content, e-mail id and mobile number of at least one of the authors.
  • The paper has to be mailed to: paperpresentsymp2k25@gmail.com
  • On spot registration is entertained only for the selected candidates.
  • The maximum allowed time for presentation is 5-7 minutes followed by 3 minute queries.

SHORT FILM

  • A short film typically runs from 5-7 minutes.
  • The film must contain original work.
  • Competitions have their own themes.
  • Films are required to be at least in HD format.
  • Proper audio mixing and sound level.
  • Poor audio quality can lead to disqualification.
  • Political mocking should be avoided.

PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Theme will be given on spot.
  • Participant must carry their own camera.
  • The photograph that is submitted should be captured within the campus with time limit 30 minutes.
  • No edits and no filters.
  • Participants must submit soft copy of the photograph in proper .jpg format or .img format.

LOGO CREATION

  • Can participate as a team of 2 members or Individual.
  • Theme will be given on spot.
  • The logo must be original and credible.
  • The logo needs to be designed on JETA.
  • Time limit: 30-45 min.

DANCE

  • Individual or group performance.
  • 3-5 members per team.
  • Time duration: 5 minutes.
  • The music should be submitted prior to the event during registration.
  • Audio track must be in MP3 format in pen drive.
  • Participants can use their own properties for their performance.
  • The team should remove their properties immediately after their performance.

CIRCUIT DEBUGGING

  • Participants must design/debug the given circuit using TinkerCAD online platform only.
  • Both hardware circuit diagram and simulation output must be shown for validation.
  • Circuits will be provided with missing/incorrect connections which participants should identify and correct.
  • Time limit: 30–45 minutes (depending on complexity).
  • Internet access is permitted only for TinkerCAD usage (no external circuit references).
  • Decision of judges will be final.
  • Bonus points for completing the task early with correct explanation.
  • By using (TinkerCAD)

SINGING

  • Solo/dual performance.
  • Time allotted for each performance is 2-4 minutes.
  • Participant should bring karaoke.

FREE FIRE

  • Hacking game is not allowed.
  • No PC is allowed.
  • No loud out is allowed.
  • Four participants must be a team.

JAM (Just A Minute)

  • 1 minute per speaker.
  • Topics on spot.
  • No Hesitation (no long pauses/fillers).
  • No Repetition (avoid repeating words/ideas).
  • No Deviation (stay on topic).
  • Challenges allowed for hesitation, repetition, deviation.
  • Scoring – points for time, correct challenges, surviving wrong ones.
  • Judges – final decision, ensure fairness.

WEB DESIGN

  • Team Members: 1-3 Members.
  • No Pre-Built Templates.
  • Image source: Freepik or any other websites.
  • Time: 30 or 45 mins.
  • Technology requirements: HTML, CSS, JS, Bootstrap & React.
  • Topic is given on spot.

DECODE MY FOOD

  • Identify food through puzzles, pics & clues.
  • Solo / Team of 2.
  • Emojis – Images – Ingredients.
  • Time limit for each round.
  • No mobiles allowed.
  • Judges' decision final.

CODE TRACKING

  • Solo / Team of 2.
  • Participants must trace & debug given codes.
  • Multiple rounds with increasing difficulty.
  • Time limit for each round.
  • No external devices.
  • Judges' decision will be final.

WHO AM I

  • Yes (or) no questions related to EEE.
  • Questions given on the spot.
  • Judges decision will be final.

HEAD UP

  • One player holds the phone on their forehead (word facing out).
  • Other players give clues to help them guess the word.
  • Tilt phone down if guessed correctly, up to pass.
  • Keep going until the timer runs out.
  • Score = number of correct guesses.
  • No Registration, No Certificate but it's fully fun activities.

ERROR SIMULATOR

  • A partially incorrect MATLAB code will be given.
  • Participants must debug the errors and run the code successfully.
  • Time limit: 40–50 minutes.
  • Each participant/team must explain the errors identified and the corrections made.
  • Plagiarism is not allowed.
  • Marks will be given based on: Number of errors successfully corrected, correctness of final output image, efficiency and clarity of debugging approach, and completion within time.
  • Judges' decision will be final.

CAD MODELLING

  • Maximum 1 participant per team.
  • PDF drawing will be given at the time of competition.
  • Points are noted for drafting, detailing, labelling and colouring.
  • The final result will be judged on the basis of completeness and optimum time.
  • Top one team will be awarded with prize and merit certificate.

CONNECTION

  • Only one person can participate.
  • Questions given on the spot.
  • Judges decision will be final.
